About the Service

Supporting young people with the practical life skills to navigate their journey into Adulthood.

Transition into Independence supports our Young People who are leaving Oranga Tamariki care. We work with Young People from the age 15- 21 years old. Our aim is to provide our Young People with the practical life skills to navigate their journey into Adulthood.

These areas could include:

• Culture/Gafa

• Employment & Education

• Housing

• Health

• Community Resources.

Referrals into this service is through Oranga Tamariki Transition Support Services to individual agencies.
